Do you like black licorice?

I don't think I've met anyone who actually likes black licorice, I think it's one of the worst candies in my opinion

Does anyone here actually like it? Was it an acquired taste?

I don't like it myself. Of course, I don't care for red licorice either lol Too sugary. But black licorice has a distinct taste that is a bit on the bitter side for me. It comes from the licorice plant, Glycyrrhiza glabra.

I defy the common view on black licorice, I love it! Also, I've loved it all my life, and used to stuff myself full of it as a child.
