For anyone who is old enough to remember what dial-up internet connection was you will probably remember the sound that came with the connecting and also the issues we faced if someone wanted to use the phone in the house when you were using the internet. Looking back at dial-up and at what we have now, you can see just how much the internet and connecting to it has changed.
I always remember when I got my first PC in my bedroom, we had a dial-up connection and there could be only one person on the internet at any given time, I and my Dad were the ones who used the internet more than anyone else in our house so we used to take it in turns on using the internet unless of course my Mum or someone else in the house needed to use the phone in which case we had to wait until they had finished.
Do you remember the days of dial-up connection?
