I have heard so much dangerous things regarding kiddnappings in Nigeria from my close relatives is it really true tht we need security to travel overthere?

I would say you don't necessarily need security when traveling to these countries, but definitely should book a trip with a guide or local. I have seen some youtube videos of people who make a trip out there with a local guide and they've witnessed kidnapping right in front of them

It's unfortunate because most of the time people can't do anything in these countries, the kidnappers are powerful and dangerous
