Slow times?

Most forums can experience some slow times with lack of activity from members, especially with new sites


Do slow times worry you? What do you do when your forum's activity has been low?


I try to focus on advertising, creating new content for others to read and respond to, as well as brainstorm some things the forum can improve on in terms of design, layout, etc.

I've had long stretches of weeks/months where it was just me posting on my site and advertising it on other forums back in the day. These days I'll see slow times during summer and when big events like back to school or holidays happen.

I just keep posting & creating content. Try to think of new ways to set my forum apart from others. As if holistic isn’t enough It doesn’t worry me; just can be a downer when you work so hard at it. I may incorporate more Post Exchanges with other forums.
