If you could design your own smart home, what features would you include?

I would definitely have the ability to control everything in my house from my home, the A/C, the curtains, lights, locks, TVs, etc.

I don't feel like the tech is ready. Most are disconnected from each other and the major smart home suites are spotty and tech involved at best.
