Why your niche?

Picking a niche is just as important as picking a domain, host, and the software since it narrows down your audience.

What made you ultimately decide on the niche for your forum?

Because I’m a physically and mentally disabled person myself.

My niche is holistic health in a secular setting. I wanted something that is not out there & that was also personal to me. To learn & grow with others holistically.
I honestly believe in today’s age if you want your forum to succeed, you have to have a multi-niche. We have to compete with social media & then we have to compete with other forums. When I started mine, I truly wanted mine to be JUST holistic in a secular setting. I would not have been able to grow it if I stayed on that single-niche path.

I have 4 forums on 4 different niches. The niches I chose depend on my passion, knowledge, and interest. I also checked for the commercial value of the niches and when I found that the niches I am trying to use had high traffic and high CPC rates, I launched forums.

Because no other niche/genre has really tickled my fancy as a forum owner.
