What is the best random act of kindness you've ever witnessed?

I don't know if it was the "best" per se but what I see the most is Pay it Forward. If somebody is short money ahead of you, we & others have given the difference.

I love seeing this in public, even when store clerks or cashiers help you out if you're a little short.


Other acts of kindness that I see consistently and are probably the 'best' I've seen is someone returning a lost wallet or cellphone, I know the pain of having to cancel all your cards when your wallet is lost or stolen.
