Do you like the layout of your home?

I have a 2 story colonial with finished basement. I had always wanted a 2 story home, and now that I have one, I'm not impressed. I'd love to go back to living in a ranch style house all on one level. I hate that there is wasted space in hallways though. It would be nice to have a home where the family or living area was in the center when you walk in and then the doors all around it would be for the various rooms. No wasted space.

We have an upstairs, main level, & finished basement. I always told people "I hate steps" lol I would love to have a ranch house again. Basement is optional. Definitely an open floor plan. This house has too many walls & the layout isn't the best. The square foot is bigger than our last house which was a ranch however the former house felt much bigger!

Same here. I hate going upstairs when I am feeling lazy. Upstairs might as well be a mile away. Lol!
